My patronymic is Pavlovna, which becomes "Palna" when spoken, and that is my nickname, too. (Incidentally, in Hindi that means "cradle" or "nurturing of a child" - and they say, there's an orphanage in North Deli of the same name) My family name is Sirotenko. It is Ukranian, means something like "Orphans' child" My nationality is Russian, which is somewhat ironic since I have Ukranian, Moldavian, Polish and I know not what blood in me (since my family name means 'Orphans') This blog is for my English-speaking friends.
